Onwards.

teinedreugan and I are shifting residences this evening.

The new house hasn't got a working phone line at the moment for reasons we have yet to determine. This means no internet until we get it fixed, so I will be only erratically present until the situation is corrected depending on when I am hanging out places with working network.

Today we went to the doctor and got me antibiotics (well, prescription for; the actual antibiotics were gotten at Stop & Shop), moved some miscellaneous personal items into the house, took apart the silly doorframe and wall that were keeping us from getting the boxspring upstairs, got the boxspring upstairs, got miscellaneous shelving units more or less in place and ready to put stuff in, replaced the showerhead in the upstairs bathroom, put in the shower curtain in the downstairs bathroom, had the locks replaced, found some of the hardware to put the bed back together, got the heater on in the lily tank, read books sitting on the couch, and set up the house shrine.

More moving of stuff to go, and then the packing up of the cats.

Okay then.

So the phone company said "Well, it's not a problem with our system, we can get someone out next week and fix it for $110."

teinedreugan said "Mutter mutter growl" and called Charlie Feeney.

Charlie called back at about six pm. And fixed it tonight.
