Last night's sleep was Bad in complex ways (I woke up at 6, tried to get back to sleep and did not until after 7, and then had to be up at 8:30 for church service). But that meant I woke up in the middle of a dream and thus remember some bits of it.
I'm pretty sure it was set at The University in The City but there was some kind of festival going on, I think, and everything was very colorful (and tinted slightly towards rosy orange). Crowds and chaos and a lot of the dream was spent trying to find the people I wanted to talk to.
Things I remember specifically:
People bunked complexly in various rooms, and not knowing where the people I was looking for were sleeping.
I think some of the festivities may have been a con? I think I might have been looking for reg at one point.
Overhearing two women talking, one of whom said to the other, in very serious and important tones, "It's important to remember that heterosexuals are turned on by heavy breathing". This was sufficiently hilarious that a large portion of the dream was spent looking for miscellaneous queer friends to tell them about it. (The women in question were not heterosexual, for the record; this was an anthropology lecture type conversation.)
While doing something else I happened to encounter KJ's friend T, who is obsessed with The Game, and thus I told him he had lost it. He shrugged and said, "I don't care anymore" and I patted him on the shoulder and told him that was a sign of character growth.
