. . . I'll learn that there are some things I should just never do when I'm in a depressive period, because there's no way in hell they can do anything that will enhance my state of mind rather than damaging it . . .

Unveils the truth so soon
And when the sun goes down
You've lost what you had--
What do I get out of this?
I always try, I always miss. . .

There's a New Order boxed set that came out, um, Monday. I should be getting mine in the mail today...
That's one of my favorite songs of theirs. The keyboard harpsichordy intro part is fun to play.
Not that this is at all relevant to your posting, but, uh, yeah. Sorry you're depressive. :(

I don't think it's SAD; while I suspect I'm slightly seasonal-affective, it seems to manifest itself mostly as hibernation through the winter months, and I'm actually not doing as much of that as I have in years past. (Hm. I wonder if that's because of the vitamins that mean the clinical depression doesn't hit as often or as badly.) I think it's a bunch of situational stuff interacting with the fact that I haven't had an actual downturn in a while. Also, I suspect I may have a cold, which can't help.
Hey, I'm glad you finally heard back from him; that's a long time to wonder what the hell is going on. I hope he's willing to deal with stuff of substance soon.
That was alliterative.
