I've never been so worked up about a problem before that I want to safeword out of attempts to resolve it.

And unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that this means that actually safewording out would be a bad idea.

(Something this nasty as one of the lurking monsters in my head that jumps out on me when I'm unprepared for it is a prospect I do not want to contemplate.)

I go bed. Maybe I'll sleep. Maybe I'll wake up further away from the brink. That would be nice.
