that I got to say something to the mammogram lab tech that she'd never heard before. (Which impresses me; I generally assume that most medical personnel have Heard It All.)

Specifically: "Yeah the scar tissue is because I was bit on the tit by a snake."

(She very carefully noted down the location of the scars on the chart.)

I was giving him a bath to help him with a stuck shed and he thought my nipple (under shirt) was a mouse? Not a very exciting story, really.

Both of us were quite startled, and in the long run it turned out nursing off that side was A Bit Trying for when I was dealing with Oldest. (But apparently it had adequately sorted by the time I was feeding Younger.)

I was once nipped on the nipple by a young cat who forgot that I didn't (and couldn't) nurse him, but the mouse explanation makes much more sense for non-mammals.

My terribly dim (late) orange cat tried to nurse on me several times, but was more likely to try to nurse on the hem of my shirt. He grew out of it eventually....
