I got very little done today.

I really should clean house and do laundry and work on this letter I need to write. Depression is a bear, y'know?

Kevin and I watched a movie (with lots of popcorn), though. (At at one point in Charlie's Angels he exclaimed, "Scream like a woman!" He was a little perturbed when I told him he was sounding like [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut.)

Then we watched Stargate SG-1. One of the episodes had a bunch of technologically advanced aliens going on about how they weren't willing to cohabit with "primitives". At one point I shouted to Kevin in the kitchen, "If they're going to keep going on about primitives, they should inflict them on the Knox!" (That being another group of aliens with technology sufficiently advanced to become magic, who were very sad about how "young" their human visitors were.) And they did. I think it's sad that I'm so impressed by shows that remember their own continuity, but I suppose the Sci-Fi Channel's pretty good about that.

And I dyed my hair again, which weirds Kevin out a little. He doesn't approve of mud-pies. The process of hennaing my hair is essentially a game of playing with mud-pies. Rub goo onto strands of hair, coil them up under a showercap, let sit.

But I did wash the tub. Which needed doing in general, and particularly after I washed two cups of reddish mud out of my hair.

I need to do laundry. And clean the living room, and the stove, and . . . stuff. And write the letter. Nnnr.

I post this, go clean the stove. Go me. Whining is productive!

Oh yeah. And I've argued with a misogynist who additionally holds that men cannot be raped by women because men always want sex. At this point, I expect I can't get through to it, but I hope that the intelligent members of that chat board who might not have heard of men raped by women are slightly enlightened by my participating. . .
