Aww. But I think the most patient cat in the world is our Minardi, who got sat on by the full weight of my 2-year-old god-daughter when she was learning to bum-shuffle downstairs and he happened to be in his favourite warm spot on the top step. He wouldn't take that from our (older) kids, but from her? He sat there without moving a muscle or making a sound and just used his eyes to beg us to come rescue him. He taught our younger cat Tabitha how to behave around babies, too, and guarded them from her until he was convinced she'd learned.
