I was going to write one of those chatty little what my day has been like posts yesterday, and had a crash and some distractions, so never got around to it. Right now I'm deeply perplexed as to why I woke up with a bloody toe, which has superceded previous medical distractions with its sheer wtfery.

My books arrived yesterday -- two Huna books and a lovely copy of the Coffin Texts which I keep distractedly petting because it's a shiny book. I catalogued them, and then went on to catalogue a whole other box of books and put them on shelves. Because steady progress is steady. (The cataloguing program was glitchy for a bit from upgrading, but I fixed it, with accidental help from tech support.)

[livejournal.com profile] arawen brought me groceries so I could start prepping dinner for Sunday, and helped me out by protecting me from the parsnip. Then we spent a while sort of vegetating, watching Kenshin, and dealing with terribly needy cats.

I've gotten some work done on the Traveller's Guide, mostly just writing glossary entries because my concentration was totally shot.

There was probably other stuff, but I've forgotten it. My toe hurts. I am perplexed.

ETA: Also, [livejournal.com profile] jennaria, [livejournal.com profile] jenett, and the theoretical possibility of [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut appeared in my dreams last night.

Well, that's better than my recent dreams. (At least one of which involved an image I'd rather not have had in there.)

Fortunately, they can mostly be chalked up to "I am sick, this is a fever dream" (and other than being exhausted, I might actually be getting over this thing. And it is now late enough I can go have a bath and go to bed and not completely mess up my sleep schedule, so yay.)

This is far more sensible than my dreams recently, yes.

I'm glad to hear that you've received more Kemetic bookly goodness!

I've fallen off the face of the earth lately, but for Very Good reasons! Any chance you're going to the next Feri camp? I miss you!
