We are collectively safely home from Montreal, in which we puttered about rather a lot, acquired booze and clothes, looked at various things, did various things, arawen and I had coffee with montrealais (in which no coffee was actually consumed by any parties), and teinedreugan, arawen, whispercricket and I had dinner with rysmiel and guest.

Old Modem Geeks in my neck of the woods spell it "kauphy": the concept remains the same, but it's not dependent on on any particular ingredients/letters. If I go for kauphy with Superversive (who invented the locution) or Nscafe (who is one of those influential in perpetuating it), I might have Juice of Ground Bean, but they'll drink tea, hot or iced, or Coke, or possibly hot chocolate.

Both of them are on my f'list. Known 'em, online and off, for years - hell, known Nssie since he was 15. This continuity pleases me deeply.
