Saw it in [livejournal.com profile] lizw's journal, chewed on it for a bit.

1. your live/deadjournal "user name" & what it means:

Lilairen I'm sure means something, but I don't speak dragon, so I don't know. (It's the surname of a character based on one of my aspects; she, being a dragon, is named in some draconic language. I suspect it has something to do with which mountain she hatched in or something.

2. on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your live/deadjournal represent who you actually are?

I don't know; I might give it a seven, because there's stuff that doesn't get in here, though largely it's stuff I don't know how to verbalise in the first place. And I have a decent lot of private stuff circulating in my head that comes out in other channels if it comes out at all.

3. how much about your life do you post to LJ/DJ?

A decent amount; given that to a certain extent I joined livejournal so [livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses and I would have a way of having some sort of casual day-to-day contact without having to write each other massive "this is the trivial stuff I've done today" emails, I try to actually do a decent overview of what I'm up to.

4. is there anything you refuse to post about?

Yes; I'm not entirely sure how to elucidate. Stuff that stays on my side of the privacy barrier. Stuff involving other people that I haven't talked over with them, to a certain extent.

5. on a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?

Damned if I know. I don't particularly care.

At least it's not red on pink.

6. from who/how did you find out about LJ/DJ?

People were yattering on about it in various usenet groups, really.

7. has anyone ever joined LJ/DJ because of you?

No; however, as a result of me starting up a journal, several people who already had accounts actually started doing stuff with them.

8. what proportion of your posts are friends only?

A fairly small one, and not for rather a while.

9. what is your favorite interest on LJ/DJ?

According to my lj, I'm not interested in anything. :}

10. Has anything on LJ/DJ ever caused you to establish, rethink, or even change your belief or position on something?

Talking to people in general tends to do that.

11. how often do you respond / comment on other peoples journals?

When I have something to say. Sometimes when I don't. . . .

12. do you prefer to write in your journal, read other journals?

I write when I have stuff to say; I read to keep up with people. I wander when my mind is spinning and nothing's coming out.

13. have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on LJ/DJ (or did it to someone else)?

I'm not entirely sure how to parse "something mean", as it's a mode of thought that I don't generally engage in. I've had arguments. This should surprise nobody.

14. have you ever banned someone from your journal?

No.

15. who are your favorite LJ/DJ friend(s) and why?

What's the difference between a tree?

16. how many of your LJ/DJ friends have you actually met?

Most of them, though some of them only briefly after a long online acquaintance.

17. of all of the people on LJ/DJ you know of, who is the most like you?

Fnord.

18. why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?

Because I know them well enough to be interested in keeping track of them and figure in the event that I want to randomly post something protected, I'm okay with them seeing it. (I do do some subgroups stuff, but I mostly can't be bothered.)

19. do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?

Nope.

20. what is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?

See inverse 18.

21. is your "significant other" on LJ/DJ?

As noted above, [livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses is on LJ; Kevin isn't. (And [livejournal.com profile] suzimoses is also here, for rounding out the family.)

Of the three people with whom I have secondary relationships, two ([livejournal.com profile] erispope and [livejournal.com profile] oneironaut) are here.

22. have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ/DJ?

That I didn't know from some other venue? No.

23. on a scale of 1-10, rate LJ/DJ for convenience, usefulness, and coolness factor:

I dunno. Too tired to think in a non-default thoughtmode now. Go bed. . . .
