I have found the OED and extracted it from the wilds of the basement.

It will now Submit To Being Catalogued.


(I also found a box of religion books I'd previously missed.)


Please be advised that the OED is bloody heavy.


Edited to add: It says much about my family that this is my father's standard Scrabble dictionary, by the way. He got a nicer-bound edition and gave me the old one.

I really need a better dictionary than the one I have. I play lots of word games, and I need something which might actually have those words I know exist.
