You know, there's nothing quite like setting up an email date for a near-realtime conversation and having the mail server fall down thirty seconds after sending the first message. . . .
Sigh. Yeah. (I checked the logs; it seems like the whole network around it was having issues -- it was losing connectivity to the time servers and DNS servers, apparently, too.)
Not that I suppose it was much better later in said email conversation when I got distracted by the stuff I was doing in parallel for much longer than I thought I had. Sigh....
