It's true about the porkies. I used to work with them, and their quills are full of a sort of styrofoamy substance, and between that and their thick layer of fat, they're like spiky little inner tubes.
It's 'cause they're too dumb to learn how to swim, but if they float, they might hit a log or something and maybe crawl to safety.

Of course, you could just email them a huge pile of PDFs of character sheets for various games.

I considered that joke seriously, too, but we decided it was much more fun to spend the better part of an hour digging up random facts and evaluating them for "Do they need to know this?"
