The house sold on Friday, after a comedy of errors that included things like "The buyer is waiting for his agent to park the car because he's afraid to come up alone." No issues, aside from people being late.

arawen treated with extensive applied metaphysics (I used a few Feri tricks on it too, once he poked me enough that I could actually apply brain). Expansion work, hah.
arawen, whispercricket, and I went to Salem yesterday because there was this coat, and it's apparently discontinued, and and and. Anyway, arawen lent me the money for it and I owe him lunch until approximately my birthday, but I own a burgandy velvet morning coat now. There was also hunting of pierogies at the Polish deli and miscellaneous other stuff. (And getting my bike into the shop.) Then arawen and I went to the Sox game. We did not throttle the fellow about three rows behind us who was training his small, shrill child in the finer points of sports assholery, but we discussed the possibility a bit. When Timlin came on, I said, "This should be ... interesting." I should probably not say things like this, but we already knew I haven't watched a game all season that they won, so hey.
I actually slept some last night.
But I seem to have a cold.
We put in an offer on another house today ....

When we actually have something tentatively pinned down, there will be the Writing Of The House Hunt Saga, which will include this. I'm getting sort of superstitious about not writing it yet.

I'm just back in my room from family dinner, and I cannot believe how *comfortable* it is upstairs, not in the physical sense (though not uncomfortable, mind you) but in the "Damn, this is gorgeous and so *right*" sense.
