The fire burns, the fire shines;
The incense burns, the incence shines ....

Tonight's meditation is the definition of "ma'at" that is "connective justice".

Tonight's offering: a nice cup of English Breakfast, with golden honey, to Djehwty, sweet of tongue, who accomplishes truth, the ibis splendid in Heka, the messenger, thrice great. Dua Djehwty!

I will sit with Him and we will have tea.

ETA:
    There will be time, there will be time
    To prepare a face to meet the faces that you meet;
    There will be time to murder and create,
    And time for all the works and days of hands
    That lift and drop a question on your plate;
    Time for you and time for me,
    And time yet for a hundred indecisions,
    And for a hundred visions and revisions,
    Before the taking of a toast and tea.

Dua Djehuty indeed! I also have tea for him. I could put my teapot on his shrine, but it would fall off, since it's on top of my computer. Instead I have a teacup-shaped tea ball there. It's a kinda funny word paradox - it's very emphatically labeled "tea cup" (that's what makes the straining holes), but it's not.

He also seems to like various kinds of chocolate, especially dark.
