Life is too short to read the usenet posts of people who want me dead. Therefore, I have adjusted my killfile accordingly. And feel more than usually bitter about politics.

Miscellaneous Lokean folk may well appreciate Loki Loves Me.

Perhaps the broadband will mysteriously start working again sometime soon, to go with its mysterious cessation of function. If not, I will be sporadic.

I think I know how these chapters are supposed to go, now. This will probably make for less blank staring.

Eeesh. *hugs*

Bwahaha. I think every Lokean gets the urge to rewrite that song. Or, well, maybe that's just me. ^_^; I've had it jingling around in my head for some time.

My usenet "home" is rec.arts.sf.fandom http://www.panix.com/~vr/rassef-faq.html

I don't think we've got more than one, maybe two, resident trolls like that. I killfiled them long ago.

Ugh. :( I always wish those people would just stay under their bitter little rocks and not interact with anyone else...

I resisted the killfile for the longest time, though there are nutcases who follow me from newsgroup to newsgroup in order to accuse me personally of mass murder whenever I speak in favor of public libraries and publis schooling and a strong labor movement. They generally resort to violent imagery sooner rather than later when talking about me. Or at me.

I finally started a killfile a few months ago and it's the bee's knees. I never have to see these things unless some well-meaning person engages them in discussion about theintemperate things they say. Then I have to decide whether or not to say anything. I'm better off not.

I've retreated from two newsgroups under this kind of pressure, but not from rasfc, because I finally learned to use the killfile.

Mine is pretty long. It includes every iteration of Ron Grassi Christian haranguing, for one thing, even though it's not aimed at me in particular.

I do hope you'll consider coming back to rasseff; we need you there.

You might appreciate Brat-Halla, an amusing Baby Aesir webcomic I found due to creator pimpage. I would never have figured that MoviePoopShoot had webcomics, never mind snarky Norse ones...

Most likely. I have now read through over half the archives and am enjoying it immensely.

Ah, right. Apologies; I'm *completely* brainfried. I spent six hours on watercolor paintings for Color Theory today, and another hour on Storyboarding stuff (finaling a drawing).

If it weren't for [livejournal.com profile] wedgex, I'd've melted into a heap on the floor by now.

I suspect you will find that you have a list of folks who want you among the living that is significantly longer than the list of folks who wish you were not.

I am among those who do thank Netjer everyday that you are among us- the living.
Maybe the error is ours. We are the ones who remain more or less silent as the others make asses of themselves.

This is something that I can try to rectify at least to some degree.

Hang in there sweetheart. You are loved indeed as well as valued.

Huggles.
