Today I finished reading the Fading Suns sourcebook and read the whole Deleria sourcebook, and wow is my head full of stuff. And I haven't even touched Temple Festival Calendars of Ancient Egypt because the cat was asleep on it for much of the afternoon (and I'm a big softie).
I've written somewhere over a thousand words (near 1500, I think, actually) in the last couple of days, but decided that posting wordcounts was not worth the effort. (That would be because I'm a lazy bum, by the way.) Yet another minor character is showing unexpected signs of personality.
Currently seeing how these interesting hair dyes will do on large bits of hair (did strand tests last night) and whether or not I will have to make serious consideration to other alterations to make the colour stick and be visible. (This, on the other hand, is because I'm finding that an impulse to self-determination is apparently manifested through various forms of appearance modification.)

sstaten, at some point when we're both on, I can now begin to answer useful questions about Deleria. I think my initial summary of it as "Changeling done right" holds up.

teinedreugan -- apparently dates for the Crownsville Festival after this month are October 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23. We need to think about this productively, call parents and the like, and remember I wanted to take laurelinde to a meal at Roy's. Also, if we're abducting whispercricket seriously rather than merely in jest, we should probably include that in planning.

Blue, huh? Getting as far away from orange as you can manage? ;) I'm trying to get a blue stripe and a green stripe.
