Have materials for preparation of food stuff tomorrow. And, in a fit of useful serendipity, [livejournal.com profile] staralshain got back to me suggesting that I prep the thing that I had decided I would do in the absence of further input, which makes all the planning much, much easier.

[livejournal.com profile] teinedreugan went out to dinner, watched about half the game on the televisions there, and then went to see the Charlie movie. And had the usual discussion and disassembly afterwards, thereby missing the denouement of the baseball. Possibly for the best. (Meanwhile I'm still sort of amazed that the Sox have been partnered with the Jimmy Fund for 52 years.)

[ Tag = Jewish Minutiae ] Does anyone have any recommendations for a good book on the adaptations and changes in Judaism that happened after the destruction of the Temple? Basically, origins and development of rabbinical Judaism, emphasis on the philosophy more than historical eventage.

Am not sure if this light-sensitive headache is me working on the aura for a migraine or being hung over. Either way, I am glad to be somewhere I can turn the lights down. Discussion in car about me definitely needing at least a flip-down set of shades (ideally prescrption sunglasses though) should I ever manage my driver's license, because even when I'm not [migrainey|drunk] I tend to wince from the new LED green lights because they hurt.

Why is it that so many of my biggest life/path/religious revelations come when I'm stringing together random stuff in a Discordian way? (Don't answer that, Eris.)

Haven't written anything since I finished the last chapter. Not so good.

Aspirin then sleep.

Jewish Minutiae question: I have asked [livejournal.com profile] doozer4200, because she will know. If I could track down the coursepack from the class I took in college that covered that time period, that would probably give you what you need also, but I do not have great confidence in my being able to do so (and without it, I'm not sure where the source material we read came from).
