teinedreugan has to run to play Fairweather so we didn't stick around for the new glasses' arrival. Will acquire tomorrow, in theory. New prescription; eyes about a half-diopter worse than they were five years ago.
Had eyes scanned by zippy new laser thingy that takes photographs of my retina and leaves behind afterimates that look like corduroy. Despite this, the opto, uh, the eye doctor decided to dilate so she could try to track down the weird semicircular thingy that appears to be in my right eye (to which my reaction is, basically, 'Yeah, that thing, I know that thing'). She didn't find it. I now feel that the brightness knob on my vision is turned up way too high.
In other news, I seem to have an astigmatism, though one so puny and pathetic that it makesteinedreugan scoff at the things they're calling astigmatism in these degenerate times.
