Computer dead.

May be a bit before I'm back to email/usenet. Will probably still be on LJ/SDMB/Cauldron/etc.

Edited to Add: Also, the last of the shitty knives snapped in my hand while I was cutting myself some consolation cake; I now have a gouge in the pad of my palm between my pointer and middle fingers, awkwardly bandaged.

And the fucking router keeps hiccupign while I'm trying to kill things on WoW to soothe my crankiness.

And Walking Disaster Area, otherwise known as my idiot cat, is trying to eat a plastic bag again.

Oooh. I wondered where you'd gone, and hoped it wasn't because of the discussion we were having (although now I kind of wish it was because of that, because then maybe your computer wouldn't be dead...). Poor dead computer.

Rr. I'd loan you Portia, but she's already on loan at the moment.

I could dig out the eMate. We seem to be getting to that point.

I'm starting to find that killing things on WoW leaves me *more* cranky, because half the time they end up killing me because they *freaking spawn on *top* of me*!!!

Blargh. Am contemplating a game-free lifestyle, for a spell. Probably do wonders for my GPA.

Dead computer is the ultimate in lame. Sympathies.

Also, ow. Bad knife. No biscuit.

Dang. That's not so fun, the computer stuff. More fun is wished you. Of the non-yikes kind, especially.

How fried is it? What are you intending to do to fix it? (if you are...)

I ask as I have a 90% functional ibook with no screen, and it seems you have a 90% functional powerbook screen with no computer... We could combine them to some strange Frankenstein's laptop? I don't know if the video driver on the ibook board would be able to handle it or if the max resolution would be wrong...

If nothing else if you have important data on the HD it can be pulled. I have access to external cases for data recovery. Though of course pulling things would void the warranty, but dumping drinks on it would do that anyway.

How will Overland have conversations without our constant babble? O cruel fate! O fragile hardware!
