There is a stack of books sitting next to me. Or was before it fell over.
So, just for the sheer randomness of it:
Guide to the Ancient World
Spacecraft Life Support and Biospherics
The Loving Dominant
The American Boy's Handy Book
Simon & Schuster's Guide to Freshwater and Marine Aquarium Fishes
Old English: Language and Literature
The Spiral Dance
The Klingon Dictionary
What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor? (this is by the same publisher that published /me/)
Guide to a Well-Behaved Parrot
Issola
Random House Compact Atlas of World History
Dragons of Argonath
By Any Other Name, Spider Robinson
The Joy of Home Winemaking
Dictionary of Spanish Slang
Reunion, Alan Dean Foster
Starship Troopers
The Art of Making Wine
The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook
Corelli's Mandolin
The 2002 Red Sox Fan Handbook (this being the one I'm published in)
Baseball Tarot
Guide to Companion Parrot Behaviour
Guide to the Senegal Parrot
From this I deduce two things: that I need to tidy up the living room, and that we have really weird book selections kicking around.
If I include books on the floor that aren't in the stack, I get Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Composite Charts: The Astrology of Relationships, The Complete Book of Chinese Horoscopes, my revised standard Bible that First United gave me a while back, my Hebrew-English Tanakh, Handbook of Incense, Oils, and Candles, and a short stack of magazines. I think this additional information mostly just suggests that I'm a flake.
