A fellow who was married in New Paltz, New York thirteen years ago is sarcastic and angry at the Social Security Administration and the State of New York.

An article razzing the Democratic Party leadership for abandoning the left. About fucking time someone noticed.
And someone points out a bunch of little issues with this whole "privatizing Social Security" foofaraw, like the increased costs and it not actually keeping retirees off the dole . . .
Apparently, many fewer people think the United States is threatened with imminent terrorist attack than a year ago, but 44% think that the rights of Muslims should be restricted, while 48% do not. Why is this even this close to even? Will downloading the PDFs of the full reports make me want to throttle things or make me feel better than the spin wants me to? I'm afraid to find out.

Still haven't decided whether I'm up to heading downtown to peer at the Flea tomorrow. Which has, much to my amusement and moderate crogglement, apparently evolved into something pretty much like a con. Complete with party floor in the hotel. Mighty is the case of the giggles that comes about in pondering this. Must check the MBTA schedule.
