I'm vaguely pondering writing up a massive about-me datadump post and then linking to it in my userinfo, and chewing on what I want to put in it.

It'll probably not even get started until after I get a userpic for Jade (one of the reasons I wanted to do this is since I came out as median and started giving my aspects serious, distinct face-time, I've occasionally gotten 'Which one of you is that?' questions, and it'd be nice to have a reference to be able to say 'This is everyone here and the userpics they use' readily). But even so the process is running in the back of my head and I'm processing what to put into it.

Thus far I've got in mind family stuff, including poly stuff and chosen family as well as bloodkin, religious stuff, writing stuff (including my solitary partial publishing credit), the aforementioned plurality stuff, hobby stuff, and, uh, stuff stuff. Maybe a little personal history or something. I don't know.

So, o people who are actually currently reading this hack rag -- if I were to put together that sort of infodump morass, is there anything else that you think needs to go in there?

(Yes, suzimoses, the cats are already filed under 'family stuff'. ;) )

I rarely look at userinfo pages at all. Mostly, I treat everyone as an Internet Dog: they are what they post.

I've principally found mine useful for doing "If you're asking me for an invite code, go read this bit, and if you want the code, do what it says."

But I think it's useful to have. I got a bit out of writing it. And sometimes, it is handy to point to.

I think you've already listed everything I'd suggest listing, except you should include the snake. And the fact that the userpic with same is an elderly picture :)

I think you've pretty much covered all the bases. I always appreciate a cast of characters (both the internal & external ones) as I'm terrible with names!

Hm. Maybe cast o'characters for things I am and am not actually working on in the writing department.

I should, in passing be interested in such a datadump; but I'm starting to feel mildly guilty about the degree to which your thought processes fascinate me, so this may not be the most objective suggestion in the world.
