677 words. I could've done more, I suppose, if I were in a better state of mind.

Lennon's still in the hospital, but he should be home tomorrow. He seems to be in less discomfort, is moving around a bit more, and all, but he hadn't eaten as of this afternoon and was running a slight fever. So they kept him for observation and more antibiotics.

Arthur's been going around all day looking for him and sounding rather agitated about it. I miss him too.

Hope he gets better...

You have no idea who I am since I've been lurking so to speak. I'm a friend of [livejournal.com profile] eashack and you're on her friend's list so I've been browsing now and again.

I read about your cat and just wanted to send my regards too. I know how hard it can be when a pet is sick. I have 4 lizards and even though they're just reptiles, when one got sick I was a nervous wreck...

I do admire you for still keeping up with writing and all that though...I know my work performance took a nose dive when Fuzzy was sick...

I know this is probably weird to hear from some random guy, but hang in there and hope he gets better soon! :)

I have a bearded dragon named Fuzzy (yes...I know he's spiky but if you kind of unfocus your eyes a bit....) 2 leopard geckos named Priss and Sedona, and an anole I rescued from my company's daycare named Peetie. :)

*LOL* Cute. Though Fluffy would have been better. ;-) [Just found his pics on your web page... handsome guy. No pics of the others, though!]

Funny you say that because that's what I call them. My "kids" :)

I always wanted a ball python but something about keeping frozen pinkies in my freezer...I personally wouldn't mind but my guests might...

Now that you meantion it, I need to give Fuzzy a bath too. It was either going to be Fuzzy or Fluffy depending on the sex. It was a boy so it became Fuzzy. He was also a "rescue" since I got him whe he was about 4.5 years old from someone who couldn't take care of him anymore. He was a wild one at first since he wasn't used to being handled. Now he'll sit on my shoulders and fall asleep while I watch TV :)

Here are pictures of the girls (Priss and Sedona) and Peety!

Re: Hope he gets better...

That's alot of space...hmmm....it was so tempting though. Some kid was selling his ball python that was a year old. About 4' long and he wrapped himself around my left arm, then around my shoulders and fell asleep on my right arm at the show. It was an "awwww" moment for me...but I had to resist. My apartment just isn't big enough :( One day though.

It freaked me out one time at a reptile show when a woman went up to the feed booth and asked for 36 frozen pinkies, 24 frozen mice, 18 frozen rats, and 6 frozen rabbits.... She was kind of scary..... :) Thankfully my kids only eat crickets and superworms!

Our cats never eat at the vet's. The vet always gets exercised about this but then sends them home anyway, and then they eat. So I wouldn't worry too much about that part, though I know it's hard not to, given that it's the eating mechanism that was insulted in the first place. But I bet he's just stubborn. Once the fever is better they should let you have him.
