I think I figured out what my wrist brace was up to when it scurried off.

I found it under one of the tables while I was cleaning -- of course, in a place I was sure I'd looked before. And a place that teinedreugan had at least glanced at, for that matter.

So I'm wearing a brace.

I just found another one on the floor. (On the rug I vacuumed yesterday, just to note that it wasn't there yesterday.) Same handedness.

My wrist brace ran off to elope. And it brought its new mate home.

It might have run off to Vermont, you know. It's not far.

They do, of course, have full adoption rights.
