Apparently the HMO is full of cheap bastards, and so they only let him get one of the tests he was supposed to get done. (The colonoscopy.) Apparently he has a lovely colon, a perfect colon, a colon for the ages, a colon to write home about. The problem is not the colon.
That means it's a small intestine issue, and that means that he has to go back for another round of tests sometime they schedule him, possibly with a different specialist, possibly with additional unfortunate preparations.
Apparently this scheduling thing meant he was out of the hospital at nine this morning and didn't contact anyone; my father called me at about nine this evening while I was at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
keshwyn and jikharra's to pass on the news.
So he's all right. This means it's not ulcerative colitis. Crohn's continues possible or likely. More testing shall follow.
