I can bludgeon people with facts about history even though history is (to put it mildly) not my strong suit. I can do this because the gods granted me, for a fleeting moment, access to the information contained within Google without me having to sacrifice a goat.

New Hampshire Public Television apparently rebroadcasts Red Dwarf. And I discovered this with an episode I'd never seen.

Today's ballgame was so bad that teinedreugan would rather watch Battlefield Earth. ...and I didn't even argue much.

The actress who played Trinity in The Matrix has really, remarkably distinctive neck topology.

And Saddam Hussein collected fantasy art. Someone alert ursulav or something.

I realised this when we were seeing preview clips on the Sci-Fi Channel for the movie that provoked that comment; after two or three runs through, I said, in essence, "Hey. I know that neck."
