Is anise hyssop ornamental or medicinal/epicureal?
(by the way, I enjoy following your varied musings and adventures, and added you to my friends list. There seems to be some debate as to friends list etiquette... does one generally ask permission to add someone to one's friends list? More to the point, do you mind that I've added you to mine? No offense taken if you'd prefer that I keep my nose out of your journal.)
It's quite fragrant, and could be cooked with; I got it partly for medicinal reasons, but I've forgotten what those are at this point. ;) I want to say bellyache. . .
As to the whole friendlist etiquette thing, I tend to be awfully confused by it; I tend to figure that people who'd be offended by random people deciding they're worth reading shouldn't post publically, thereby saving everyone else the bother. ;) In other words, no, I don't mind. :}
I try to keep him out of the ones he will crush. The coffee plant, for fairly complicated reasons, grew sideways until it was over the edge of the pot and then decided to grow straight up again, though, so when he rests his head in the pot he can't hurt it. (It's also fairly robust; it'll grow into a bush eventually, and has a woody stem.)
