The chaos that surrounds me like a flock of screaming pigs

Due to the critical serotonin shortage I missed a couple of things on my 'to try to hit this deadline' list last week, and was having another fit of "What even are words and how do I make them" from which I have once again been rescued by Danny the catboy bard, who added to the previously noted backstory content (which had settled in at about ten thousand words of little vignettes) another near-three thousand words of vignettes and then, when I thought I was done with that already, getting "Let It Go" on random shuffle while picking up Youngest yesterday led to another 3300-some words of a completely different vignette-based backstory about brotherly love between family misfits, Disney soundtracks, and scrapbooking set against a backdrop of Cyndi Lauper.

I think I have managed to mine out all the backstory this boy is producing, I am running low on places to put it (though I suspect I shall at some point come up with some more "this weird thing happened when I was working the Renaissance Faire" bits, but those aren't remotely loadbearing, just hypothetically amusing), and maybe I will be able to tackle the next CFS now.

Of course I also have a bajillion little snippets of things to maybe happen Sometime if the opportunity presents.

* "If this is stable enough for ten minutes I need to go get a smoke I can tell I'm getting into that biting off heads part of nicotine withdrawal and if I get my ass stuck as a cougar until dawn I'm gonna be worse than useless."
* possible knife fidgeting if the opportunity presents (current soundtrack: still "Eddie")
- the impending meltdown about The Current Plot when there is both breathing space and an Ezra, in whatever form that takes (I have told MG about what Danny wants but there is clearly More Going On)

- the first cat in lap thing
- the subsequent cat in lap thing
- pouncing Ezra's tail
- possibly talking to Thomas about whether Thomas can build some kind of thing that would help translate from Feline to English to help with the cat language tutoring sessions, riffing on the buttonpush things for pet communication
- ongoing making friends with crows and tapping into corvid gossip by bribing them with Wheat Thins (ivy you have been written by implication into the Deliria campaign my character got the idea for this by overhearing the crows gossiping about "the human who used to live on Cap Hill who gave us Wheat Thins")
- cat language lessons with the party, ongoing background

- surprising Ezra some evening
- the "your friends worry about you" conversation
- the learning to fight conversation with hilarious commentary about other party members
- conversation about interaction protocol
- the interstitial thing that needs the Low Belle, probably in the rose garden and thus easily open to other folks
- stories about men
- asking about Ezra's shelves (incl. poetry collection)
- MG said there was an Ezra story to get from Briseis sometime
- the shapeshift vs. pounce conversation
- Danny actually getting a handle on the shapeshifting (requires many previous steps, at least one more involuntary shift into a different animal, and probably nasty winter weather)
- stories and time
- ongoing correspondence with Stewart and possibly tale-telling when he next visits

- map discussion with Isobel in the magical theory department
- will Danny ever actually learn any magical discipline or will he continue fucking around and finding out? (if yes, he may pick up Bodywork with an outside chance of also diversifying into Shamanism from core book magical paths)

- scrapbooking discussion with Isobel once she learns the scrapbook exists
- Danny's magical notes are very funny
- The Call of the Wild
- moving his stuff out of the storage locker and into the Octavius house

- whatever made MG go "oh oh [evil GM laugh]" on March 24 in our conversation about Danny's FAFO magical techniques
- the law school friend thing MG has plotted
- possibly something making Danny want to pass the bar in Washington State which will require futzing with legal ID and accessing his college records and thus toggle off the 'hunted (by hostile family)' problem
- baby brother encounters possibly involving "did you know your boyfriend is ... ... ... strange?"

I had to go back and look at what made me evil laugh on March 24th. It took me a minute to figure out my train of thought, because I didn't write that down anywhere, but I did figure it out, because it is a Very Me Thought.

I just don't know what to do with it. Maybe... Oh... hey that must have been where I was going... mwahahahahahaha!

But I no longer remember what Briseis' story to tell Danny was. I'll have to see if I can. Or find a new one.
