(I really should post something of substance but I am recovering from being sick with a head cold bad enough I got covid-tested for it even though I'm fully vaxed and really all I've done for a while is play Disco Elysium.)
ANYWAY THE ANNOUNCE.
The most weirdly specific submissions call I ever sold a story to is in pre-launch on Kickstarter; this is the only Fog and Brass story I've actually sold and of course it is about the most minor named character in the duology. ;)

(Also, let me know if you ever want crits on the book - I have not been giving them because I wasn't sure they would be useful.)

I am approaching the point where I will be tackling the Editing Overhaul on these, to make sure that all the appropriate threads are planted, characters have correctly cued prominence, the romance plot runs with appropriate bumps, and, y'know, it meanders a bit less, so some amount of comment is likely to be useful, keeping in mind that I'm trying to organize my brain and ... am not having much luck because what even is a brain after 2020? Editing feels hard and overwhelming and that is why I am avoiding it vigorously, heh.
(The story in the CATS anthology is about Audrey the dressmaker's apprentice, who you met in CP.)

Hurrah for words approaching distributed paper!
(It's not like they specified a subtype of cat OR bicycle. Could have been much more specific. Tabby recumbent, Longhair cygnet, it could have been much more niche!)

Well, of course.
The cat perches on the exceedingly notional stoker-seat and supervises, while there's no obligation to either achieve any kind of off-putting, wobbly height or pretend to alertness.
