Mason has successfully built the wooden box into which one pours the footing for the new stoop. AR watched him for a while but eventually sort of petered out into 'reading' books next to the window. (I'm not sure how much she actually reads? She writes random strings of letters on notes and hands them out to people.)
I did the usual necessary things, with the addendum of conveying KJ to the vicinity of her school where they had a booth set up for doing school photographs for the year. I also did laundry which, come to think of it, I should extract from the dryer. Then I made dinner.
Three out of four of the bookcases from the office-that-was have had their books put back, more or less on the shelves they came from but in slightly random order. Since I will be reshuffling the book arrangements when the shelves for the deeper bookcases exist I am not worrying about this, I can make it all make sense when I have recalculated where everything goes. The Egyptiana is not unpacked because the bottom shelf stack of those did not make it up to the hall (it has been found) but that can be done. The bead boxes are also where they go.
(And then the project that was Dependency Hell blocked because none of my reference books were available can, theoretically, unstick.)
Had RE meeting. Assigned KJ RE homework afterwards, to wit, "Pick out a half dozen of your favorite Minecraft constructions on Youtube so we can share them with the teacher who has never touched the thing so he knows what you can do with Minecraft".
My body is in an uproar and I suspect it is mostly the vagaries of the usual hormone cycle but ugh. And the juniors don't have school tomorrow so I will have to occupy them in some other fashion.

I read, "She writes random strings of letters on notes and hands them out to people", and immediately thought, "She's using a rotational code!"

It is a property of days to continue occurring.
May the decrease of entropy continue!
