Incidentally,
jikharra:
teinedreugan was telling me about Marik's worries about the Fairweather run. I echoed them back to him as, "Marik was worried that there was a new god with a walking schtick." He made pained noises for a very long time, and agreed that I needed to share.
We went to the mall, which was . . . I'm sensitive to the pressure of groups of people. It was bad enough that
teinedreugan got a headache from it. We wound up puttering through several stores and getting computer games for the two of us. Very successful, that. (Heh.)
Then we went to the pet store and ogled birdies and snakies. And we came to the conclusion that the boys share ferret impulses, specifically for lying sprawled in bizarre positions. There was also a very cute skink.
And then we went to Michael's and I wound up with supplies for handling the thing I'm making for
brooksmoses, so it was not a completely beside the purpose expotition. And I found something else, so that's two silly things, but nothing serious yet.
It's sleeting. Awfully. I can deal with cold and I can deal with rain but pounding down rain mixed with ice is a no go. There were times we couldn't see to drive home just from the rain, and the condensation on the car didn't help. Home now. Wrapped in blanket. Rar.
