Handled over Zoom. I ran a Monarchies of Mau game (think 'basically D&D for tweens who want to play cat people') for it, and it went pretty well for a game with one person who's played this kind of thing before and four newbies, several of whom are Chaos Muppets in the extreme.

In any case the girls successfully rescued the kidnapped Jack the Terrier and captured the main bad guy (the lieutenant looked at the situation after it had generally degenerated, said "You're not paying me enough for this!", and teleported out).

Nothing worked out quite like I expected it might, including a remarkable number of botches and triumphs, and there was a run where the bad guys reliably rolled 15s on everything, but I think/hope that the girls who are not my kid mostly had a good time.

I am utterly fucking wiped, from not sleeping well the last few days, trying to basically write a game module while wrangling preschoolers, and then attempting to herd eleven-year-olds. But that is at least complete and I can now expire of exhaustion in peace.
