(On the other hand if I didn't do them right away it was quite likely that I'd just... lose track, so here's a case where pretending to be a competent adult prevents disaster.)

Some amount of buzz undercut for both complex identity reasons and to be carrying less hair directly against my neck in the hope that it will make me less miserable in the summer.

Also when I've done that I'm gonna try to dye it blue but that's not the relevant fuckwithing.

And I just did the last thing I needed to do for that editorial run soooo apparently I win.

(It was a 5K story before we tackled it, not a huge project, but even so.)

This was like 90% "Your sentences are very long let me try to make this easier to parse", 5% "What are you trying to accomplish here and are you sure this is the best way to do it?", 4% "Can we trim this redundant word please?" and 1% stet, all amiably sorted.
