I am wont to post yearly on the third of February at 12:54 am with a cryptic comment of some fashion, though I see, reviewing past years, sometimes I have elevated it to entire posts.
In the case of this year, the Hitchhiker's Guide reference was irresistable.

The Hitchhiker's reference I got, and I do vaguely recall it's your natal day but "not base 13" would imply that you're fifty-four the which comes into conflict with "I am pretty sure I am older than you". The usual life-the-universe-and-everything number seems much more likely, and typing all this out I realize that the "not base 13" is about the resolved value, not the numerals, and would leave the numerals just where they ought to be.
I am confused by the math because it seems off and I do not get the reference, despite having read Hitchhiker's Guide, but I do know it's your birthday, so. Happy birthday!
Ah. Ok. Thank you. I had to do a Google search but it makes sense now. It's been over 10 years and several head injuries since I read the series so my memory is spotty.
