Unexpectedly Exhilerating

That feeling of formatting up a short story to submit and feeling quite pleased to be actually manage a full day before the deadline only to see a countdown in hours on the submission form...

... and realize that it meant midnight tomorrow Australian.

Next deadline is in two weeks. I can write a story in that time, right?

I imagine it comes up a touch more often in your field than mine, which is notoriously US-centric.
