Ha! I'm sure the wingnuts on tumblr think so, or something, but the Dutch Kemetic's been helping me out for years. ;)
(I spent an hour or so last night trying to buy a book from the Netherlands on a website that didn't have English and wouldn't, for some inexplicable reason, accept my credit card; I think the syntax on the address was different enought hat the automated check-the-info-matches stuff kept failing, actually. Which mostly left me with an urge to wander around burbling, "Winkelwagen!" Things cascaded from there.)
It is a splendid word. Might I be any help with the acquisition of the book? Possibly a card from another EU country might work better, and I can usually get Dutch to make some sort of sense in my head.
I wound up cancelling the order and getting it from a store in Denmark instead. Wound up being cheaper, with the shipping difference, and they were willing to take money from me.
