In terms of bottles: bear the lovely TSA requirements for size in mind.

(this is why I have shampoo bars. Well, it's not the primary reason why, but it's handy.)

That is one of the other reasons, yes.

For complicated reasons I use Dr. Bronner's and cider vinegar, both of which I acquire in Big Bottles.
