I wish I could remember more of what was going on in the dream, in the hopes that it actually had some relevance. There were a bunch of people involved, it was some sort of .... it may have been multilayered, with an awareness of an RPG and then the actual full-immersion thing in which there was:

* an assortment of sniper-type assassins
* a trip to a retreat house or party house in which we could pick some of our own furniture and because not as many people "won" as expected everyone got their own rooms
* this also had some kind of brightly coloured playground
* a very large dog who looked like Scooby-Doo who apparently had regeneration powers or at least was very tough; I do not think he could actually walk on water, but rather that he was plowing through some shallows in the bit where people were failing to successfully slowing him down by stabbing him with knives
* a small red dragon who was bothering us
* some very important philosophical bits about planting things and letting them grow and seeing what they would become and nurturing that
* an interesting redheaded woman

I mention the interesting redheaded woman last because in one of the perspectives on this set of events where we were looking at character sheets, artan_eter, who was present on that level but not the lower level, commented that he had several versions of the writeup for that NPC and did not know which of them was going to come into play.

The one whose sheet I saw was fireproof and had a merit involving amazing grip strength, which led me to comment that perhaps she could strangle the dragon and solve that problem, a suggestion which was a) considered funny and b) led to interrogation about whether or not I had that information in character.

Now that I wake up, though, I go "a redheaded woman with multiple character sheets, on one of which she is fireproof and has the gripping power of a very practiced blacksmith". Also associated with artan_eter.

Uh-huh. Not sure what's going on there, but I suspect that something is going on.
