[livejournal.com profile] brooksmoses and I went out today. We went to Hugo's, 'cause essentially everything there is half off, and half off at a used bookstore is a good, scary thing. I have lots of books. And after I decided that the lots of books I had were sufficient, I left them at the counter and went to interact with the store cat, who decided I had an acceptable lap and did not want to be evicted. (I said, "I'd like to get up, cat," and the cat promptly curled up and snuggled.)

And then we went to the Vietnamese restaurant in the garage, and I was brave and got the Large Order Of Soup. Which I essentially finished, never mind that the bowl for that has essentially the same cross-sectional area as my abdomen. (Brooks agreed with me on that.)

But the poing-poing-poing is because on the way down there was a song on ZLX, and it sounded like Boston, but it didn't sound like Boston I'd heard before.

This is because it's a new release.
