(It was notably more chaotic on my end than it appears. She also navigated off the chat window several times, attempted to bookmark it thrice, kept toggling between Opera and the OSX Dashboard, and turned the screen brightness up and down a lot. And some of the great stuff - like the one with a capital omega in it - got vanished in her websurfing.)

Ha! This cross-references quite amusingly with the descriptions of reward-based dog-training that tiger_spot and chinders have been doing, in which the process is all about waiting for the dog to do what you want (and creating situations where that's the likely outcome) and then rewarding it -- and in which it seems that most of effort comes in getting the dog to do what you want unintentionally, and moving from there to intentional is relatively easy.
