realized that in the midst of my big life changes, i had lost track of your lj and wasn't around when it was time to say congratulations. so i'm saying it now. congratulations! you sound like you're coping pretty well. babies are hard!
I've got some nice beeswax-based stuff that whispercricket got for me that seems to do reasonably well for my current state of faintly abraded. It's not the nursing that's getting me, it's her occasional tendency to either shake the nipple like a terrier with a new rat or drop it and then rub the area vigorously.
