I think Ari may be my least combat-capable character ever, possibly including the madwoman I played briefly on Compass Rose, who could probably hurt someone if she hit them with a stick.

But, said character has the name Ari, which is, IMHO, the COOLEST NAME EVER, so it all works out in the end.

Extra win...first time I've ever heard of a gal named Ari though...but I dig it.

C. J. Cherryh's Cyteen's main character is a female Ari (short for Ariane). That's actually my first association with the name; I learned about it as a Jewish name rather later.

jewish version, ari means lion, old norse version, ari means eagle :)
