The one redeeming factor in the spilling of dry spaghetti all over the kitchen floor is how it amuses the cat.

Mind, said cat leaves the kitchen every time I go in there because gracious, there's no way that he would be doing something so silly as killing the bits of dry spaghetti that I didn't manage to tidy up.

So I go back to the living room and ...

Heee. I'm creating my mental picture using Lennon as a base.

Beatrice proudly delivered a dead dust ball to me this morning.

Heh. I had this theory that our cats would sometimes go insane playing as soon as we left the house. One day, only J left, and as soon as he did, I started hearing this crazy playing out in the living room. So I walked out there to look. They all stopped, and at least one did manage a "hey, we didn't know you were still here" kinda look. And they didn't go back to playing when I went back to the office.

Amen to that!

I sometimes spill it just for amusement! And I have an extra edge... Sophie cleans it all up for me when Connor is done. If she tries to eat it before Connor is done he "reminds" her with a little claw poke.
