Went to New Year's Eve party hosted by ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jikharra and keshwyn, got home a little past 3am. Oracles for the year suggest a necessity for bug spray to ward off the consequences of the Apocalypse and that the collective id of the gathered people is full of zombies, politics, and alligators.
Got up to go to dim sum (organised byits_just_me and lpaladin, including arawen, whispercricket, and teinedreugan). Had many small bits of food and some buns. Discussed computer games and such.
Wandered over to buy a kettle in the face of oncoming soggy slush from the sky, passed a bunch of rather bedraggled and weary-looking purple kale, declared, "Sad ornamental cabbage in snow." Win!
Have kettle and kitchen towels.
