[livejournal.com profile] arawen dozed off in my lap this evening while I was reading blogs.

This resulted in the following conversation:
[livejournal.com profile] arawen (waking up suddenly for no particular reason): Mmmmm?!
    Me: Hmmm?
    [livejournal.com profile] arawen: Hmmm.
    Me: M?
[livejournal.com profile] arawen (snuggling my thigh): Mine.
Me: And what provokes that claiming?
[livejournal.com profile] arawen: If you weren't here, my head would fall down.

At which point he went back to sleep, looking quite pleased with himself.

(In other news, still vaguely ill, got the taxes done, did some laundry, carried water. Full of thwart.)

'Round bout my parts, we regularly do the feline rubbing your jaw against someone and repeating "Mine, mine, non-exclusively mine."

:)

You know, I have always guaged a relationship's health by the ability of the individual's involved to engage in such 'trite' conversation.

I find it is very difficult for individuals who are in an unhealthy or strained relationship to engage in such banter. It can be done but it is difficult at best and often gives the appearance of being forced.

Your exchange with [livejournal.com profile] arawen doesn't have a 'feeling' of being forced.
On the contrary, it is one of the more romantic exchanges I have read in a long time.

Thank you guys. You made my day.
Love you [livejournal.com profile] lilairen and I would like to say from the pictures you have shared with us, the readers of your journal, I have to say and want to say, you are exceedingly beautiful. I don't say that often or to everyone either.

Hugs.
