Hip all wrong.
Managed to catch train anyway.
Met
queenofhalves at Diesel, made acquaintance of a friend of hers.
Ran into
ninevrise at Diesel too.
Used bookstores are dens of temptation and iniquity.
Introduced to strange Indian bakery by
teinedreugan.
Went to games.
Played with small person who really likes the shiny power button on the laptop.
Read some Eliot aloud, including bits that I clearly needed to read at the time.
Snuggled
arawen, for lack of anything more helpful to do.
Discussed non-plans for tomorrow with
teinedreugan.
Removed pigeon from fireplace (well,
teinedreugan did).
Prepared for people to come measure our doors at a ridiculous hour of the morning.
Contemplating:
and symbology of a rose made of fire as some sort of weird dedication thing. There's a Black Heart thought in here somewhere. Consumed by fire or fire.
I want ... I reach for ... something. All I wanted was a piece of the night, it never had to get so dark. Ahh, nebulous yearnings.
Also, I want my hip to not hurt.
Managed to catch train anyway.

- Quick now, here, now, always—
A condition of complete simplicity

Hm. Wikipedia says Pandora's Box was put together by Steinman in '89 and only released the one album; 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' is '95; The Shadow is '94. So it is, in fact, the original release of the song.
