Wasn't drunk, just very happily tipsy. Tipsy enough that I could tell, "the room is not spinning, the water in my inner ear is not sloshing, but I feel dizzy anyway."

Thank you for being tolerant - everybody else was calling friends to say, "Hi, we're drunk/tipsy/gettingdrunk/whatever" and you were the only person who I thought would get it. :)

I tend to quote random bits of the last stanza -- the whole last section, but mostly the last stanza -- and the section before it. I may start memorising it from the back.
