Oh man, that feels good.

It's been so long since I've done my ritual work from a place that isn't reaching out of pain, a place that resembles some sort of wholeness. (And while the underlying pain and broken parts are there, they are not currently dominating my reality. Which is is a nice damn change.)

It feels so good to light the candle, light the incense, pour out the water, and give thanks. And to laugh for the sheer joy of it, the feeling right and whole and aligned. I can breathe it.

Dua Wesir, Who has sustained me.
Dua Wepwawet, Who has shown me the way.
Dua Set, Who has kicked my ass.
Dua Hetharu, Who has not allowed me to forget love and beauty.
Dua Nimue, Who has never stopped laughing.

A friend and co-religionist was commenting a while back that there isn't enough practical theology work being done in our shared faith; that's the first of me throwing things out to try to address the need.

It's nice to know someone else who does that! :-) I hate seeing carts floating out in the parking lot or thrown into the return slot so haphazardly that it might as well not be there. I also will often take a cart from someone who is finished unloading and roll it into the store with me as I go in, just to not add another one to the chaos.

Heh. I found that essay after I read the entry, and yes, it made more sense. The essay kinda related to an ongoing discussion/friendly debate me and my friends have about macro and micro perspectives. (He leans toward macro, I lean toward micro in general.) Ma'at seems like such a macro thing - it's good to see an idea of how it works out in the micro.
