The issue is sort of part paranoia -- I don't want to risk possible harm to the wood or stuff that might get in the way of the craftwork I want to do with them. At the same time, I'm of a belief that working with a tool in the way that it's going to be used, religiously speaking, is one of the most important parts of consecrating the tool, so I don't want to do so casually. But I'm not completely sure which one I'm going to use in the long run, either, or if I'll be doing something with all of them, so I can't use that as the basis for a judgement. And I'm not sure I want to bring all of them, because even though they don't weigh much, a lot of "Well, that doesn't weigh much" adds up fast, and I overpack generally. . . .
I'm not sure how much sense I'm making here.
